A multicultural beauty pageant in Dublin recently brought together contestants, community representatives and cultural performers for an event focused on both personal achievement and social responsibility.
Held at the Church of Scientology & Community Centre in Dublin, the gathering featured 24 contestants from seven different nations and an audience of about 450 people.
Organised by Miss & Mrs Cross Continent Events Ltd. and sponsored by Broccoli Care Ltd., the programme was developed in collaboration with The Truth About Drugs Ireland.
The programme began with an educational exhibition where visitors could review factual Dublin information about drugs, addiction and prevention. Some participants completed all fourteen educational modules, demonstrating that their preparation went beyond the traditional pageant format.
In his address, Mayor Francis Timmons noted that education and positive leadership can help create healthier and more united communities.
The pageant was accompanied by a diverse cultural programme featuring dancers from several community organisations.
Niveditha Vudayagiri, a software engineer with a master’s degree in artificial intelligence, was crowned Miss Cross Continent 2026. Fortunate Lindokuhle Masina and Yuki Yuliatin completed the top three as first and second runners-up.
